2-Day Zagora Desert Trip

On the first day, we depart Marrakech at the scheduled time for Zagora. We traverse the Tizi-N-Tichka mountain pass, witnessing Amazigh villages along the route. After a brief stop at the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, we proceed to Zagora, crossing the Anti Atlas, and passing through the Draâ Valley and its palm grove, the last signs of vegetation before the desert. Upon arrival in Zagora, there's time for a camel ride and to view the desert sunset. After dinner, we spend the night in an authentic Amazigh tent.

On the second day, we rise early to witness dawn in the desert. Following sunrise, breakfast, and a shower, we embark on a 40-minute camel ride. We again travel through the Draâ Valley and Agdez to reach Ouarzazate, visiting the Taourit Kasbah. In the afternoon, we return to Marrakech, with options to eat in Ouarzazate or en route. The tour concludes back in Marrakech in the late afternoon.
