2-Day Zagora Desert Trip

On the first day, depart Marrakech at the scheduled time heading to Zagora. Cross the Tizi n Tichka mountain pass, passing traditional Amazigh villages along the way. After a short stop at the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, continue towards Zagora, crossing the Anti Atlas and travelling through the Draa Valley and its palm groves, the last greenery before the desert. On arrival in Zagora, enjoy a camel ride and admire the sunset over the desert. After dinner, spend the night in an authentic Amazigh tent.

On the second day, wake up early to watch the sunrise over the desert. After breakfast and a shower, enjoy a 40 minute camel ride. Travel once again through the Draa Valley and Agdez towards Ouarzazate, where you’ll visit the Taourirt Kasbah. In the afternoon, return to Marrakech, with the option to stop for lunch in Ouarzazate or along the way. The tour ends in Marrakech in the late afternoon. Accommodation Types When booking, you can choose between two accommodation categories: The standard camp hosts up to 5 people and features shared bathrooms and showers. The superior camp accommodates up to 4 people and includes private bathrooms. All tents are private and available as double, triple, or family options. A supplement applies for single travelers. Hotel Pickup Guests staying inside the Medina should go to KFC Marrakech on Avenue Mohammed V for pickup. For accommodations outside the Medina, pickup from your hotel or riad is included.
