Experience the vast Sahara Desert as you travel along parts of the Dakar Rally track on this 5 day private journey from Marrakech.
Leave Marrakech in the morning and cross the Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n Tichka pass at 2,260 metres above sea level. Visit the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, a historic fortified village. Overnight stay in Ouarzazate.
After breakfast and a visit to the Taourirt Kasbah, continue to Zagora via the Tizi n Tinifift pass at 1,600 metres above sea level. Discover the Draa Valley and pass through villages such as N’kob. Overnight stay in a desert riad.
Follow parts of the Dakar Rally route, stop in Khamlia to enjoy traditional folklore music, then continue to Erg Chebbi. Take a camel ride into the dunes to reach your camp for an authentic Amazigh experience.
After watching the sunrise over the dunes, ride back to the jeep. Visit Rissani, then continue to the Todgha Gorges and the Dades Valley for an overnight stay in a camp.
Leave the Dades Valley along the Route of the Thousand Kasbahs, passing through the Valley of the Roses towards Skoura before returning to Marrakech.
