Casablanca Walking Tour
At the indicated time, we’ll meet at Rick's Café to begin our guided tour of Casablanca, discovering the city’s most important landmarks. The tour starts at the Hassan II Mosque, home to the tallest minaret in the world, standing at 210 metres (689 ft). Next, we’ll visit a small local market where you’ll find textiles, spices, and leather goods, perfect for picking up traditional souvenirs. As we continue, we’ll walk through the Habous district, developed during the French Protectorate, and discuss key moments of Casablanca’s colonial history. We’ll conclude at United Nations Square, located at the gates of the Medina and symbolizing the connection between the historic old town and the modern city. The tour lasts approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes.
