Chefchaouen Guided Tour

At the designated time, we’ll begin our tour at a central meeting point in Chefchaouen. Our first stop will be the Spanish neighbourhood, where we’ll explore the historical ties between Spain and Morocco. We’ll then make our way into the old Medina of Chefchaouen to admire the exterior of the Grand Mosque and visit Plaza Uta el-Hammam, home to the 15th-century Kasbah of Chefchaouen, built in 1471 by Rachid Ben Ali to defend the city. Our route continues toward the ancient city gates—Bab El Ain, Bab Souk and Bab Onsar. As we walk beneath them, we’ll discover the famous blue houses of Chefchaouen and learn the meaning behind their iconic indigo hue. After 2 hours, we’ll conclude our guided tour of Chefchaouen. Until next time!
