After collecting you from your accommodation early in the morning, we’ll head north toward the Rif region and continue on to our destination: Chefchaouen. Once in Chefchaouen (also known as Chaouen), you’ll have five hours of free time to explore the city at your own pace. Unmissable sights in the medina include Place Uta el-Hammam, the Grand Mosque with its distinctive orange octagonal tower, and the Kasbah, which houses a garden, museum and art gallery. Outside the medina, the Ras El Maa waterfall is one of the city’s most iconic spots, where local residents often wash clothes in the river. A short walk beyond the waterfall offers a panoramic viewpoint over the region. After a total of 11 hours, we’ll return to Fez, where you’ll be dropped off at your accommodation or another preferred location. Local Guide If you would like a local guide to accompany you in Chefchaouen, the cost is €15 for the entire group. You can request this directly from the driver on the way to the city.
