Essaouira Kitesurf Lesson

At the scheduled time, we’ll pick you up from your hotel in Essaouira and head to the beach, just 15 minutes away, to begin a 2-hour kitesurfing lesson. You’ll start by learning how to handle the kite and prepare for your first time in the water. On arrival, all necessary equipment will be provided along with an introduction to basic safety guidelines. You’ll learn how to set up the kite, check the systems, and get familiar with the gear. We’ll then spend around 30 minutes practicing kite control on the sand, focusing on launching, landing, and steering with the wind. Once you’re comfortable, it will be time to head into the water. For approximately 50 minutes, you’ll practice body dragging, an essential technique that involves being pulled by the kite without using the board. You’ll learn how to move with and against the wind to build confidence in the sea. Throughout the lesson, the instructor will offer personalized guidance to help you improve your technique. At the end of the activity, we’ll collect the equipment and return to your hotel in Essaouira, wrapping up the experience after about 2 hours and 30 minutes.
