At the indicated time, we'll meet in front of Cap Sim Hotel to begin our street food tour of Essaouira. We’ll start by visiting a local street market, where you’ll taste olives, freshly squeezed orange juice, and traditional Moroccan tea. Then, we’ll stop at a spice shop to explore the aromas and blends that define Moroccan cuisine. Our route continues outside the Jewish Museum of Essaouira, where we’ll discuss the influence of the Jewish community on the city’s gastronomy. We’ll then head to the Old Port of Essaouira to sample oysters and fresh fish straight from the Atlantic. Next, we’ll enter the Medina of Essaouira, discovering emblematic corners and learning how its multicultural history has shaped its culinary identity. Before ending the tour, we’ll enjoy lunch in a traditional restaurant inside the Medina. Throughout the experience, we’ll taste classic Moroccan dishes such as tajine, couscous, grilled meat skewers, and pastries like gazelle horns. After approximately 4 hours, we’ll conclude the tour.
