Fez Medina Private Tour

At the scheduled time, we’ll meet you at your hotel or riad inside the Medina of Fez and begin exploring this captivating Moroccan city. On this private walking tour, you’ll wander through some of the most important streets and alleyways of Fez. The old Medina, founded in the 8th century, is made up of more than 300 neighborhoods and around 9,000 narrow lanes. We’ll see iconic landmarks such as Bab Bou Jeloud and the Bou Inania Madrasa, as well as the famous Talaa Kebira and Talaa Seguira streets. You’ll also discover some of the oldest residential areas, including the Andalusian and Quaraouin districts, where you can observe fountains, mosques, and traditional bakeries. Highlights of the tour include the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss, the Al Karaouine Mosque, and the Mausoleum of Sidi Ahmed al Tijani. We’ll also visit the Chouara tannery and explore the lively souks. The tour continues to Seffarine Square and through the Andalusian Quarter, ending after approximately 3.5 hours back at your hotel or riad, or at a central point of your choice.
