Imlili Desert Private Offroading Tour

At the scheduled time, your local expert will pick you up from your hotel in Dakhla in a 4x4 vehicle to start this off-road route through the Sahara Desert. The drive south takes around 1.5 hours to reach the Imlili Desert, home to natural saltwater pools where small fish offer a surprising and natural pedicure experience. After exploring the area, you’ll head back toward Dakhla with several scenic stops along the way. The first stop is Plage de Portorico, an unspoiled Atlantic beach where you can relax, take a walk, and enjoy the coastal views. Next, you’ll visit the village of Al Argoub, where you can enjoy a picnic with your own food or taste a local kabsa at your own expense. The route also includes a stop at the African Distance Sign, which shows the distances from Dakhla to different African capitals and makes for a great photo opportunity. After approximately 7 hours, you’ll return to Dakhla, where the experience ends with drop-off at your hotel.
