Leather Workshop in Chefchaouen

We’ll meet at number 21, Avenue Hassan II in Chefchaouen to start this leather workshop in Morocco’s famous “Blue City.” Following a short introduction, you’ll be shown how to handle the different tools used to work the leather, such as needles, scissors, and decorative stamps. Step by step, you’ll learn the basic techniques needed to create your own handmade keepsake. You’ll be able to choose what to craft: a bracelet, a wallet, a pair of sandals, or a small or large bag. With guidance from a skilled artisan—whose knowledge has been handed down through generations—you’ll shape and assemble your piece. Each creation will be one of a kind. At the end of the session, you’ll take your finished item home as a special reminder of the experience. After approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, the workshop will come to an end back at the original meeting point.
