Pickup is at the entrance of Hotel La Perle de Sud in Ouarzazate. We’ll begin with a 30-minute stop at Kasbah Taourirt for photos before continuing along the famous Road of 1,000 Kasbahs toward Skoura. From there, we’ll cross the Valley of the Roses and head to the Dadès Gorges, where you’ll spend the first night.
After breakfast, we’ll visit the impressive Todgha Gorges. Then we continue toward Merzouga, passing through the Jorf Palm Oasis and stopping in a village known for its fossil workshops. Once in Merzouga, you’ll ride camels across the dunes to reach the desert camp, where dinner will be served.
We’ll start the day with sunrise in the desert, followed by breakfast at the camp before beginning the journey back to Ouarzazate. The return route passes through the Tafilalet Palm Oasis, Rissani, and offers scenic views of the Anti-Atlas Mountains. There will be a lunch stop in Kelâat M’Gouna before arriving at the original meeting point at approximately 4 pm. Accommodation Information On the first night, you’ll stay in Dades at Dar Essyaha, Hotel Babylon, Hotel Le Vieux Chateau, Kasbah Tifawen, or a similar hotel. The second night is spent in a desert camp in Merzouga (Azawad Luxury Desert Camp or similar). Standard haimas accommodate up to 4 people and include a private bathroom, while superior haimas can host up to 5 guests. During peak season, standard camps may offer shared bathroom facilities. Breakfast and access to shower facilities are provided on the third day. Accommodation options include double, triple, and family rooms. A supplement may apply for solo travellers.
