After collecting you from your accommodation in Fez at the indicated time, we will head to the Moroccan capital, located about two hours away by car. Upon arrival, you’ll have free time to explore the ancient Medina of Rabat, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2012 for its remarkable architectural heritage. You may visit the esplanade that houses the Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. The construction of the Hassan minaret was halted in 1199, and your guide will share more about its history. Nearby stands the 12th-century Kasbah of the Udayas, a fortress filled with hidden corners and stories. After approximately one hour for lunch, we will continue to the Royal Palace of Rabat, known for its iconic main gateway. We will conclude the visit with free time to explore the Chellah Necropolis, an impressive fortified complex preserving remains from Roman, Carthaginian, and Phoenician civilizations.
