Visit Sefrou’s waterfalls and riverside medina
Discover the cave houses of Bhalil with mint tea included
Explore Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco”
On this tour, we'll visit the historical Moroccan cities of Sefrou, Bhalil, Ifrane and Azrou, exploring beautiful waterfalls, ancient caves and cedar forests inhabited by monkeys.
We will collect you from your hotel or riad at 9 am and head to Sefrou, a small town 18 miles southeast of Fez. Here, you'll see its charming waterfalls and a medina divided by a river. Next, we’ll arrive in Bhalil, a mountain village known for its cave houses. During the visit, we’ll enter one of these unique homes and enjoy a traditional mint tea with the locals. Our route then continues to Ifrane, famous for its European-style architecture and peaceful atmosphere. It is also home to one of the country’s most prestigious universities and a popular retreat for wealthy Moroccans. We’ll end the day in Azrou, exploring its cedar forest, home to the ancient Gouraud cedar—the largest in the region—and a natural habitat for hundreds of Barbary apes. Finally, we’ll return to Fez, dropping you off at your hotel between 6 pm and 7 pm. Modifications to the Itinerary As this is a private tour, the route can be customised to your preferences. For example, if you prefer to skip Sefrou, we can dedicate more time to the nearby lakes along the way.
