Souss-Massa National Park Day Trip

At the scheduled time, you’ll be picked up from your hotel in Taghazout and travel to Souss-Massa National Park. The drive takes around one hour and showcases the changing landscapes of southern Morocco, where desert terrain blends with oasis areas. The first stop is Tifnit Beach, where you’ll enjoy a short 15-minute pause to take in the authentic atmosphere of this small fishing community. You’ll then visit the Souss-Massa National Park Museum for around 30 minutes. Here, you’ll learn about the park’s ecosystems, endangered species, and ongoing conservation efforts. The route continues inside the national park, with short stops to explore different habitats on foot. During these moments, you may spot and photograph local wildlife such as ostriches, butterflies, damselflies, and Arabian oryx antelopes, as the park plays an important role as a protected wildlife reserve. After visiting the park’s main areas, you’ll begin the return journey to Taghazout, with the full experience lasting approximately 5 hours.
