Surf Lesson in Dakhla

Ready to experience surfing with views of the Western Sahara? After pickup from your hotel, we’ll make our way to Dakhla’s main beach, where the Atlantic Ocean offers ideal conditions for learning. Once we arrive, you’ll receive all the surf equipment you need. Your instructor will begin with a short introduction covering the basics before guiding you through essential techniques, including how to keep your balance on the board, paddle correctly, and position yourself for the waves. Thanks to its long, consistent waves, Dakhla is considered one of the region’s top surfing destinations. After practicing the fundamentals on the beach, it’s time to enter the water. You’ll paddle out, wait for the right moment, and follow your instructor’s guidance as you try to catch your first waves. Falling is part of the process, and with each attempt you’ll gain more confidence and improve your technique. After approximately 2 hours of surfing, we’ll take you back to your hotel, bringing the experience to an end.
