Tangier Guided Tour

At the chosen time, we’ll meet at the Port Mosque to begin this guided tour of Tangier. We’ll start by entering the Medina through one of its traditional gates, where you’ll immediately feel the vibrant atmosphere of its lively squares. Next, we’ll visit the Kasbah, exploring its main square and stopping at the Bab Al Bahr viewpoint to admire the Strait. Along the way, we’ll see historic walls that recall the former Sultan’s palace. We’ll then continue toward the heart of the Medina, passing the Kasbah Mosque and Bab El Aassa, one of the fortress’s most emblematic gates. The tour proceeds through the legendary corners of bohemian Tangier, including Café Baba and the former residence of Barbara Hutton, both closely linked to the city’s cosmopolitan past. We’ll explore the Spice Market before heading to the bustling Grand Socco. After visiting the central market and briefly discovering the old Jewish quarter, we’ll walk along the lively street leading to Petit Socco, a charming square popular with locals. After approximately three hours, we’ll conclude the tour near the Grand Mosque of Tangier, at the Terrasse Borj al-Hajouir.
