Tangier to Marrakech 7-Day Trip + Merzouga Desert Visit

We’ll begin the journey with pickup from Tangier Airport or your hotel, then head straight toward the blue city of Chefchaouen. Once there, you’ll have free time to explore at your own pace or choose to join an optional guided tour. The day ends with an overnight stay at a hotel in Chefchaouen.

After breakfast, you’ll depart from Chefchaouen toward Volubilis, where you’ll have around 1.5 hours to explore the archaeological site. The journey continues to Meknes, with about two hours to visit highlights such as the Bab El-Mansour gate and nearby landmarks. In the evening, you’ll arrive in Fez for an overnight stay in a traditional riad.

After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of Fez, including visits to the Royal Palace, the Mellah, and the UNESCO-listed medina. In the afternoon, you’ll have free time to continue exploring and sample local cuisine at your own pace..

After breakfast, you’ll depart from Fez and travel to Ifrane, continuing through cedar forests and stopping in Midelt for lunch. The journey then leads through mountain landscapes toward the Merzouga Desert. On arrival, you’ll enjoy a camel ride to the desert camp, followed by traditional music, dinner, and a night under the stars.

You’ll wake early to watch the sunrise over the dunes, followed by a hearty breakfast in the desert. The day is free to explore the surroundings with different activities, including a visit to a nomadic village. An optional traditional lunch can also be arranged.

After breakfast, you’ll travel to Todgha Gorge for time to explore and have lunch. The journey then continues to the scenic Dades Valley, where you’ll spend the night.

After breakfast, you’ll head toward Ouarzazate to visit its film studios. You can also choose to join an optional guided tour of Aït Benhaddou. The journey continues across the Tizi n’Tichka mountain pass, arriving in Marrakech around midday, with drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
