Tétouan Guided Tour

The guided tour of Tetouan starts at Plaza Moulay El Mehdi, where we’ll meet in front of the Post Office to begin our walk through Morocco’s white city. Our first stop is the Church of Our Lady of Victory, followed by a stroll to Hassan II Square, the heart of local life in Tetouan. Here, you’ll see the Royal Palace, where the monarch stays during official visits to the city. We’ll then step into the narrow streets of the Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In this area, we’ll explore the former Jewish quarter, known as the Mellah, and get a closer look at the traditional tanneries, where leather is still dyed and treated using ancestral techniques. The tour continues through Tetouan’s souks and bazaars, including the Berber market, where stalls display spices, ceramics, leather goods, and a wide variety of local handicrafts. After approximately two hours of walking, we’ll conclude the guided tour by returning to the meeting point.
