We leave Marrakech heading south, crossing the High Atlas, passing through the pass of the highest mountain in all of Morocco, Tizi N' Tichka (2260 m), making panoramic stops to contemplate its spectacular landscapes. We will continue to visit an argan oil cooperative, where we will discover its production process. We will follow the route that will lead us to Kasbah Telouet (optional visit), and we will continue the route through the Ounila Valley, wonderful landscapes and several Berber villages, to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a World Heritage Site by Unesco and a place where many Hollywood movies have been filmed. We continue to Agdz, passing through the city of Ouarzazate, cross the mountain pass of Ait Saoun, until we reach Agdz in the Draa Valley, where we will spend the night.
After breakfast we leave for the desert of Ouzina, crossing the Draa valley to Zagora where we will take a detour along the old Paris-Dakar route, unique landscapes and the feeling of being lost in the desert. When it's time for lunch, we'll stop to enjoy a picnic under the shade of the trees. We will continue our route crossing small Berber villages until we reach the Ouzina Desert, where we will spend the night.
In the morning we leave the desert, passing through the small town of Ouzina, full of palm groves inhabited by about twenty families. We follow the route through the desert in the direction of Merzouga until we reach the village of Khamlia, known for its traditional music where most of its inhabitants are nomads from different parts of Africa. We will stop to see one of the musical groups that dance to the rhythm of the "Gnawa" music and offer tea to visitors. In the afternoon we will arrive at the dunes of Erg Chebbi, where the dromedaries are waiting for us to accompany us to our luxury camp and spend a fascinating night under the desert stars.
We return to civilization after seeing the dawn. We leave Merzouga to continue towards the Dades Valley and on the way we pass through the Tafilalet Palm Grove and the town of Rissani, then through Alnif, we cross the High Atlas mountain range towards the Dades Valley where we will spend the night.
We cross the arid and interesting landscapes of the Draa Valley, next to it runs the river that bears the same name. It is the longest river in Morocco and crosses the entire country to Mauritania. We will continue to leave the Anti Atlas behind and reach Ouarzazate, where we will take a break for lunch. In the afternoon we will cross the High Atlas, arriving in Marrakech in the afternoon where we will conclude our tour.
