Merzouga sits beside the Erg Chebbi dunes on the edge of the Sahara and is one of Morocco's main bases for camel rides, desert camps, off-road routes and visits to nearby villages. This guide explains what to do, how long to stay and how to combine the dunes with Rissani and Erfoud.
